Terms of Service
Last updated: 30 April 2026
These terms describe the agreement between you and Rumbo when you join the waitlist at flyrumbo.com.
1. Scope of this agreement
Rumbo is currently in pre-launch. The only thing we offer at this time is the option to join a waitlist to receive a single email notification when the product becomes available.
This agreement is limited exclusively to the use of that waitlist. It is not an agreement covering the Rumbo product itself — the product is not yet delivered, and when it launches it will have its own terms of service that we will publish and that you will need to accept before using it.
By entering your email address and clicking “Notify me” on flyrumbo.com, you accept these terms of service in the version in force at the time of your registration.
2. Who we are
The party responsible for the waitlist and for this agreement is:
Alvaro Paolini, acting as a sole trader under the trading name FlyRumbo.
Address: 77 Camden Street Lower, Dublin 2, D02 XE80, Ireland.
Contact: hello@flyrumbo.com.
3. What happens when you join the waitlist
When you enter your email address and click “Notify me” on flyrumbo.com:
- Your email is added to our waitlist.
- We send you a single email when Rumbo becomes available to use.
- We do not send you any other email while you are on the waitlist.
The processing of your email is described in detail in the Privacy Policy.
4. What we ask of you
To join the waitlist, we ask the following:
- That the email address you provide is your own, or that you have authorisation from the person who holds it.
- That you are at least 16 years old. The minimum age to begin private pilot training is generally 17; we accept registrations from 16 onwards so as not to exclude those starting on the path towards pilot training.
- That you do not use the waitlist for automated, abusive, or impersonation purposes.
5. What we do not guarantee
Rumbo is a project in development. We work carefully and to a clear schedule, but we cannot guarantee:
- An exact launch date. Any dates we communicate are estimates and may change.
- That the final product will include every feature we describe today.
- That the launch will actually take place. Although our commitment is to launch, a project in development may fail to reach production for technical, commercial, or personal reasons. If we decided not to launch, we would notify you by email and delete the waitlist data in accordance with the privacy policy.
6. How to unsubscribe
You can unsubscribe from the waitlist at any time, without giving a reason, by writing to hello@flyrumbo.com or privacy@flyrumbo.com. We process unsubscribe requests within 30 days and permanently delete your email.
7. Limitation of liability
Given that the waitlist is a free service limited to a single notification, our liability under this agreement is limited accordingly.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rumbo is not liable for:
- Indirect damages, loss of profit, loss of opportunity, or any other consequence arising from the delay, modification, or cancellation of the launch of Rumbo.
- Technical interruptions on flyrumbo.com or in the services of the technical providers listed in the privacy policy.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
8. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any dispute arising in connection with this agreement shall be resolved before the competent courts of Dublin, Ireland.
If you are a consumer resident in another country of the European Economic Area, this clause does not affect the mandatory consumer protection rights granted to you by the legislation of your country of residence — including the right to bring proceedings before the courts of your country.
9. Changes to these terms
If we update these terms, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of the document. When changes materially affect the agreement between us, we will notify you by email before those changes take effect. Your continued presence on the waitlist after the effective date will constitute acceptance of the updated terms; if you do not agree with them, you can unsubscribe under section 6.
10. General provisions
Severability. If any provision of these terms is found by a competent court to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable from the rest of the document and shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions, which shall remain in full force and effect.
Entire agreement. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Rumbo regarding the use of the waitlist. Any prior or parallel communication — including social media posts, email exchanges, or any other channel — does not create contractual obligations beyond what is expressly set out in this document.
